Our own Always L8 and Lucky Penny are championing the Wiregrass Area Food Bank's "Souper Bowl" Soup Drive for their Food Pantry. Now, the Food Bank's goal is 7000 cans of soup, and that's a BIG pile of soup cans, for certain. WiregrassLive's goal is 2010 cans - well, because it's 2010 and all....
Our collection point is Dakota Coffeeworks, located at 4440 West Main street, next to Dante's Italian and the KFC/Taco Bell. It's close to Flowers Hospital, and has a drive-through window as well, so bring your soup, drive through for your latte, and hand over those cans! They're open from 6 am till 10 pm, so drive through at your convenience. Or, if you really want to just admire the pile of soup, stop by and peek inside under the big television on the wall - how big will 2010 cans of soup be, anyhow??
